Reykjavik Iceland | 3 night Pre-Cruise Program

July 29 – August 1, 2026

 

Day 1 – Arrival – Hotel: Reykjavík Fosshótel  

Fosshótel Reykjavík, opened in June 2015, is Iceland’s largest hotel, located in the city’s business district, just a short walk from Laugavegur shopping street. With 320 rooms across 16 floors, it offers stunning views of the city and bay. The hotel features 7 suites on the top floor, a wellness center, gym, free Wifi, and first-class conference facilities. Room options include standard, deluxe, business, family, and triple rooms, plus a honeymoon suite. There are 4 meeting rooms and a restaurant/bar (Haust). Wheelchair-accessible rooms are available. Check-in is at 15:00.  

 

Day 2 – Reykjanes Peninsula and the Blue Lagoon

Embark on a tour of Reykjavík’s stunning surroundings, including the UNESCO – listed Reykjanes GeoPark. Drive past Bessastaðir, the Presidential residence, to Hafnarfjörður, and along the coast to lake Kleifarvatn, a setting for the Icelandic novel The Draining Lake. Near the lake, explore Krísuvík’s geothermal activity with hot springs, mud pots, and boiling pools. Continue along cliffs to Grindavík village, a hub of volcanic activity, before visiting the world-famous Blue Lagoon for a relaxing soak in its geothermal waters. 

Duration: 7-8 hours

Day 3 – The Golden Circle

If you only take one guided tour while you are in Iceland, then it has to be the Golden Circle! This combination of natural and historical wonders lets you experience Iceland’s landmark attractions in one incredible day. You’ll visit the magnificent Gullfoss waterfall, the spouting hot springs of Geysir, and Þingvellir National Par, site of the Viking parliament and over 1000 years of history. 

Duration: 8 hours

Included: Private guided coach tour, Fridheimar greenhouse visit including tomato soup and bread buffet

Friðheimar – Visit to a geothermal greenhouse: Includes an introduction into how the family uses Icelandic nature to cultivate tomatoes, along with a chance to sample tomatoes.

Please read the following information and conditions carefully. Submission of your deposit indicates your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

NOT INCLUDED IN TOUR PRICE

Airfare, checked luggage fees, additional hotel nights outside of scheduled group travel dates, meals not specified in the itinerary, alcoholic beverages (unless noted), independent sightseeing, any transportation not included in the itinerary, optional travel insurance, and personal expenses.

NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED FOR UNUSED TRANSPORTATION, HOTEL ROOMS, MEALS, SIGHTSEEING, OR OTHER SERVICES NOT UTILIZED.


TRIP CANCELLATION INSURANCE

Beyond Group Travel, Inc. recommends Trip Cancellation insurance to protect you against non-refundable expenses should you need to cancel due to accident, illness, or other covered reasons before or during your trip. An insurance application will be provided upon receipt of your registration form and deposit. Receipt of the application constitutes your acceptance or waiver of insurance coverage.


ACCIDENT & BAGGAGE INSURANCE

We strongly recommend that travelers obtain adequate accident, medical, and baggage insurance. Beyond Group Travel, Inc. is not responsible for personal injury, illness, theft, loss, or damage to luggage or personal belongings.


RESPONSIBILITY & LIABILITY

Beyond Group Travel, Inc. acts solely as an agent for suppliers providing transportation, accommodations, sightseeing, and other travel services. We assume no liability for:

  • Delays, missed connections, or schedule changes

  • Loss, damage, injury, illness, or death

  • Acts or failures of transportation companies, hotels, or other suppliers

  • Mechanical defects, weather, strikes, or any event beyond our control

  • Substitution of hotels or transportation as necessary

Participation in this program is at the traveler’s own risk. Many activities—including walking, hiking, and use of various modes of transportation—carry inherent risks. By participating, travelers acknowledge and assume all such risks.

Rates are based on the components included at the time of booking and are subject to change before departure if supplier pricing changes. The itinerary is subject to modification, with or without notice. Any additional costs resulting from such changes are the responsibility of the traveler.

Tour pricing is based on a minimum number of participants. Beyond Group Travel, Inc. reserves the right to cancel the program should minimum participation not be met. In such cases, travelers will receive a partial refund of funds paid. Travelers will be notified of cancellation at least two months in advance.

Baggage remains at the owner’s risk unless fully insured by the traveler. We reserve the right to decline or remove any participant from the program whose condition or behavior may affect their own well-being or that of the group. Refunds will be issued only for the unused portion of services.

If Beyond Group Travel, Inc. is the merchant of record for your credit card transaction, you agree that our services include facilitating reservations and payments to suppliers. Once these services are rendered, you agree not to dispute charges.

The tour staff’s primary responsibility is to the group as a whole and cannot provide extensive individual assistance in cases of illness, injury, or personal needs.


AGREEMENT OF PARTICIPATION

By submitting a deposit for this program, you agree to hold Beyond Group Travel, Inc. harmless and release it from any liability for damages or monetary loss you may incur due to trip interruption, modification, or cancellation.
