Day 1 – Saturday, March 6: Departure
  • Departure Flight –  Houston to Frankfurt (included economy class)

Day 2 – Sunday, March 7: Arrival in Israel (Modi’in)
  • Flight – Frankfurt to Tel Aviv (included economy class)
  • Meet tour guide, transfer to Jacob Modi’in Hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 – Monday, March 8: Caesarea, Megiddo, Sea of Galilee (Tiberias)
  • Visit Caesarea Maritima (Herod’s port, aqueducts).
  • Explore Megiddo, site of ancient civilizations and Armageddon.
  • Overnight at Galei Kinneret Hotel on the Sea of Galilee.

Day 4 – Tuesday, March 9: Galilee Sites
  • Private boat ride on the Sea of Galilee, visit 2,000-year-old Genosar Boat.
  • Sites: Tabgha (site of the multiplication of bread/fish), Capernaum, Magdala, Church of the Primacy, Kursi.
  • Lunch: St. Peter’s Fish by the lake.
  • Return to hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 – Wednesday, March 10: Golan Heights & Caesarea Philippi
  • Visit Mt. of Beatitudes, Caesarea Philippi.
  • Explore Golan Heights, jeep ride, Valley of Tears.
  • BBQ lunch in the woods.
  • Evening: Caprece Diamond Center visit.
  • Return to hotel overnight.

Day 6 – Thursday, March 11: Nazareth & Jerusalem
  • Visit Cana, Nazareth Village, Annunciation Church, Mt. Precipice.
  • Wine tasting at Kitron Winery.
  • Overnight in Jerusalem at Inbal Hotel.

Day 7 – Friday, March 12: Jerusalem & Bethlehem
  • Israel Museum (Dead Sea Scrolls), Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial.
  • Visit Bethlehem: Church of the Nativity, Nativity Shop (olive wood).
  • Return to Jerusalem for Sabbath dinner and overnight.

Day 8 – Saturday, March 13: Old City Jerusalem
  • Mt. of Olives, Dominus Flevit, Garden of Gethsemane (Church of All Nations).
  • Enter Old City: Christian Quarter, Pool of Bethesda, St. Anne’s Church.
  • Walk Via Dolorosa, Church of the Holy Sepulcher.
  • Overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 9 – Sunday, March 14: City of David & Western Wall
  • Visit Caiaphas Palace, City of David, Hezekiah’s Tunnel (optional).
  • Explore Southern Steps, Hulda Gates, Western Wall & Tunnels.
  • Overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 10 – Monday, March 15: Dead Sea & Masada
  • Drive to Dead Sea, Jericho views.
  • Tour Masada (cable car to fortress)
  • Spa experience at Dead Sea hotel: float, message/facial/mud treatment.
  • Lunch at Rosemary Restaurant.
  • Return to Jerusalem for overnight.

Day 11 – Tuesday, March 16: Samson, David & Machne Yehuda Market
  • Drive through Sorek & Elah Valleys (Biblical sites).
  • Visit Tel Lachish archaeological site.
  • Culinary and cooking experience at Machne Yehuda Market.
  • Overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 12 – Wednesday, March 17: Departure
  • Return Flights – Tel Aviv to Frankfurt & Frankfurt to Houston (included economy class)

  • Round-trip, economy-class airfare from Houston to Tel Aviv with Lufthansa Airlines. (Limited business class seats available at an additional fee)

A $150 per person administrative fee will be assessed by Beyond Group Travel  for any cancellation after deposit.

Travel to Israel – ETA-IL Requirement

Please note that travel to Israel requires an ETA-IL (Electronic Travel Authorization) for U.S. citizens.

ETA-IL is an online pre-travel authorization that must be completed prior to departure. Travelers will be required to submit an application in advance and pay a small processing fee.

We recommend applying at least 72 hours before departure, though earlies is encouraged. Travelers without an approved ETA-IL may be denied boarding.
